Yoga for 50+ Wednesday Timing - 10 - 11.30 am
When it comes to yoga, it’s never too late! Whether you’re 50 or 75, it is never too late to take up yoga. You are only as old as you feel! Get the most out of your “golden years” – now that you finally have time to do something for yourself and your own physical and mental development. Specially adapted yoga exercises can awaken the body’s power of regeneration, leading to more energy, enhanced physical well-being and a more positive attitude towards life.
Therapeutic Yoga for a better back Tuesday Timing - 7.30 - 9.00pm
This class will combine the use of various specialized props, including critical alignment props, and basic yoga asana to increase the mobility, stability and strength of the shoulders, back and hips. There will be a strong focus on the alignment of the spine to create freedom in the shoulders, back and hips. As it is a therapeutic class, it is ideal for everyone and no yoga experience is needed.

The Good Food Box Program, (GFB) is a program under the Community Kitchen Program of Calgary, whereby anyone can purchase boxes of fresh fruits and vegetables at an affordable price. Each Good Food Box contains a combination of fruits and vegetable. The content varies weekly due to seasonal availability. The boxes contain the maximum produce to ensure our clients are getting the most value for the price. *Please note weights are approximate.

DEBORAH LAXTON SCHOOL OF DANCE

Deborah Laxton School of Dance runs classes at Rocky Ridge Ranch Community Centre several days of the week. Classes are held for children from the age of 3 upwards
and are suitable for all abilities. Classes held include Ballet, Jazz/Hip Hop, Pre School Ballet, Tap Dance , Glee Song and Dance and Pre Pointe/Pointe. The dance school is non competitive and all classes are taught by a fully certified teacher who trained with the the Royal Academy of Dance London, UK and who has over 30 years teaching experience both in the UK and here in Calgary. UPPER HALL
The Ranch Centre is a great place to host your function. The upper level boasts 1500 ft2, hardwood flooring, a full kitchen, and wrap-around deck with a beautiful view of the park and mountains. The lower level provides an intimate space for smaller functions, is child proofed, and can be rented in conjunction with the upper level to maximize space.
The Upper Hall accommodates up to 72 people. $60.00 per hour for members, $85.00 for non-members
THE LOWER HALL
The Lower Hall accommodates up to 24 people. $35.00 per hour for members, $50.00 for non-members
THE MEETING ROOM
Upholstered chairs and rectangular tables are included.
Use of the Park is not included in the rental and cannot be rented for any fee.
Lower level availability may be reduced during the summer. Please note there is no Wi-Fi.
Renters are able to add to their rental our BBQ (propane included), Projector + Screen or Sound System (microphone included).

All Rentals pay a $500 damage deposit. The hall must be rented for a minimum of three hours. All rentals that extend past 10:00pm are subject to an additional $55.00 security fee.

Upper Level: Members $60/hr..+gst; Non-members: $85/hr.+gst.
Lower Level: Members: $35/hr.+gst; Non-members: $50/hr.+gst.
Meeting Room: $35/hr.+gst
Security Fee applicable to all rentals that extend beyond 10:00pm: $55.00 flat fee
SOCAN Fee: SOCAN (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) is a Canadian performance rights organization that represents the performing rights of more than 135,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers. RRRHA collects and remits to SOCAN the fees that permit renters to play music at their event. The fee is $31.31. for events without dancing, and $62.64 for events with dancing.
RE:SOUND is a Canadian not-for-profit music licensing company dedicated to obtaining fair compensation for performing artists and record companies for their performance rights for recorded music. RE:SOUND advocates for music makers and performers, educates music users, licenses businesses and distributes royalties to creators to help build a thriving and sustainable music industry in Canada. RE:SOUND administers the performance rights
of performing artists and record companies in the sound recording. The RE:SOUND fee is $9.25 for events without dancing, and $18.51 for events with dancing.
All day rental packages are available.
